Float the Delaware River one of the east coast's most
unique and picturesque treasures. The Upper Delaware has
been justly designated a National Wild and Scenic River by
The National Park Service. The Main Stem above Callicoon and
The East and West Branches are among the finest wild trout
fisheries in the United States. Hard fighting wild Rainbows,
that will take you to your backing in seconds, and stream
bred Browns can be found in the tail waters below the
Cannonsville and Pepacton Reservoirs. Cold water released
from the bottoms of these reservoirs keep the river cool
even through the dog days of summer. A must for the survival
of these wild trout. Wildlife is abundant, Bald Eagles, Wild
Turkey, Deer, and an occasional Black Bear make their home
among the forest that border this pristine river. Dry fly
fishing at it's best. Equipment and stream side lunch are
provided. Please remember to catch and release for the
future of this great fishery. Here are a few things that you
will not want to forget.
